The Yankees will look to complete a three-game sweep of the Texas Rangers this afternoon at Yankee Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 12:35 PM ET.

The Yankees, sitting at a strong 29-19 record, have taken the first two games of the series, including a thrilling 4-3 come-from-behind victory last night capped by a walk-off home run. They'll send left-hander Carlos Rodón (5-3, 3.17 ERA) to the mound, who will be making his 11th start of the season. Rodón is coming off a solid outing against the Mets last Friday, where he gave up just one earned run over five innings.

Opposing him for the Rangers (25-25) will be veteran right-hander Nathan Eovaldi (4-2, 1.61 ERA). Eovaldi has been in stellar form, boasting a remarkable 1.61 ERA through 10 starts and has allowed only one earned run over his last 21 innings.

While the Yankees are hot, having won three straight and seven of their last ten against the Rangers, Eovaldi presents a significant challenge for the Bronx Bombers. The Rangers will be desperate to avoid the sweep and salvage a win in this road series.

Injury Update:

The Yankees continue to manage a few key injuries. Shortstop Anthony Volpe and pitcher Clarke Schmidt are both questionable with shoulder and oblique soreness, respectively. Giancarlo Stanton and Luis Gil remain on the 60-day injured list with elbow and lat injuries, respectively, and are expected to be out until later in the season. Marcus Stroman is on the 15-day IL with knee inflammation.
